  • Dr. Balázs Havasi-Tóth graduated with a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) in 2013, and went on to earn his PhD in 2020 in the field of particle-based fluid dynamics modeling. Since then, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the BME Department of Fluid Mechanics and within the HUN-REN Morphodynamics Research Group. His primary area of expertise is fluid dynamics modeling, as well as the study of the behavior and morphology of solid bodies in flows. Within this framework, he has conducted extensive fundamental research in both engineering and geological fields.
