Experience

EBRD

Environmental appraisal and monitoring of large projects especially in the metallurgical and chemical process industries; also in other heavy industry, transport infrastructure, shipping and municipal services;

Energy efficiency projects: developing environmental guidelines for energy service companies;

Liaison with technical personnel of project sponsors and consulting firms, including preparation of terms of reference for environmental consultancy assignments and participation in the selection of consultants;

Project supervision, particularly compliance with environment-related covenants.

AMERICAN APPRAISAL

Supervised more than one hundred appraisals in Hungary, Czech and Slovak Republics, Poland and Russia. The majority of the assignments were in the manufacturing and process industries; hotel chains, catering networks, retail, transport and recycling companies.

HUNGARIAN STATE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OFFICE

Conducting energy and environmental conservation projects, publicity campaigns, energy audits, demonstration projects, publication of manuals and handbooks, training programmes, R&D sponsoring;

Coordination of the implementation of two IBRD energy efficiency projects;

Participated in industrial process development, including authorship of several UNIDO and UNEP studies on the bauxite/aluminium industry, patents and scientific publications.
