Quick review of environmental legislation in force in Kurdistan region of Iraq and identification any lacunae requiring immediate action, including:

designing a medium-long term program of environmental improvement until 2020,
a description of the main environmental issues in industry and infrastructure,
a description of the physical and financial investment program to reduce the environmental footprint of existing industry and infrastructure and
to prevent undue environmental damage from industrial and infrastructure investments as projected for to the year 2020.
